From where I sat, thousands of miles away in London, it was more than mere chance. It was theophany—the visible manifestation of God to humankind. Trump survived an assassination attempt that seemed unmissable, a divine epiphany that must have stunned his enemies. And when another attempt on his life followed days later, he survived that too.
Trump is a survivor. His political life has been a relentless battle, not unlike Indiana Jones dodging obstacles in pursuit of truth. From the moment he entered politics, the establishment has sought to remove him. His first term saw impeachment trials, legal battles, accusations, and an onslaught of negative propaganda. They tried to ban him from re-entering the presidential race. They threw everything at him—yet he endured. And when the people spoke, he emerged victorious, winning the presidency once more with a comfortable margin.
Perhaps what stands out most about Trump’s first term is this: no wars. In a country notorious for its endless conflicts under one pretext or another, Trump defied the war machine. He even attempted to build diplomatic ties with one of the most isolated and heavily sanctioned nations on Earth—North Korea. When he met Kim Jong Un and crossed the historic demarcation line into North Korea, it was an unprecedented moment.
Now, Trump is attempting the impossible again – bringing an end to the bloody war between Russia and Ukraine. A war with the potential to escalate into World War III and the annihilation of humanity. While the world’s most powerful leaders struggle to contain the crisis, Trump stands alone, determined to halt the destruction before it spirals beyond control. But his mission is far from over. Powerful enemies remain. Will he survive them? I believe he is meant to. The same force that has guided him thus far will not allow its most precious creation—humanity—to be destroyed by evil.
